About Us
My love for photography began with a little point and shoot camera with little to no features. From there I was always looking for a bigger and better camera to capture beautiful images. My hobby soon turned into a career when I was asked to photograph a friends wedding. At first I was hesitant, but my wife convinced me I should give it a try and that I was indeed a talented photographer. I did a lot research on wedding photography to prep me for my friends wedding day. Before I knew it, it was time, my nerves were high and so was my adrenaline. The feedback I got from the wedding was overwhelmingly positive. They loved the quality, creativity and passion I was able to capture from their wedding day. They told me that there were some things they would have done differently for their wedding, but the best decision they made was to have me as their photographer. That meant a lot to me, especially since it came from an architect and a graphic designer.

The positive reactions and my love for photography drove me to open Ben Sheriff Photography. There are a lot of photographers to choose from, but my love for working with people, drive to improve and willingness to try new things set me apart from others.
In the digital age that we live in, so much of what you see is not a true reflection of reality. I strive to capture what is true and real the first time. None of the images on my website have been changed since the moment they were taken.
